Help and feedback
SiliCue Support
Use the getting-started guide for first setup and permissions. For issue reports or privacy questions, email [email protected].
When reporting an issue
Include your Mac model, macOS version, SiliCue version, the screen involved, and steps to reproduce the issue. Do not send a serial number, password, Apple Account information, full file paths, Wi-Fi password, or other personal information.
Local reports
We cannot remotely access your SiliCue data. Reports created by the app remain on your Mac and are not sent automatically. Attach a report to a support email only if you choose to and after reviewing its contents.
Safety symptoms
If you notice a swollen battery, liquid exposure, a burning smell, severe overheating, or unexpected shutdowns, stop the test, shut down the Mac safely, and contact Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. SiliCue does not replace a physical inspection or authorized service diagnosis.
Frequently asked questions
- Unsupported sensor readings are not estimated; they are shown as unavailable.
- When a supported SiliCue version and Mac provide GPU memory information, unified-memory capacity and the app’s current Metal allocation are separate measurements; current allocation is not total GPU memory.
- macOS may request Location permission for the Wi-Fi name and access-point details; physical location is not read.
- AI runs on-device on supported Macs and does not send symptom text to a cloud service.
- Live metrics and core health, performance, battery, and network tools are free. SiliCue Pro offers a monthly subscription with a one-week trial for eligible new subscribers or a one-time Lifetime purchase. The subscription is managed in App Store account settings, and purchases can be restored with the same Apple Account.
